Q: Hey guys. So here’s a big one for you: How do I tell my family and friends that we want to elope without breaking their hearts? We’ve been talking about eloping for a while, because we can’t afford to spend on a wedding, we think it’s a partnership between the both of us, and we don’t really need other people’s validation. We’ve never really been the happily-ever-after types until we met each other, so we don’t really care about a wedding and traditions.
However, we don’t want to alienate the people that we love. I don’t want to do a song and dance for a crowd, but I also don’t want to break my mother’s heart. Is there such a thing as an elopement party with tacos?
