Jessica and Javier’s wedding at the Ybor City State Museum Garden has us tearing up before we even got to the ceremony! The love between the bride, groom, their son, and their friends is palpable, and it comes through it just about every wedding photo of theirs you see. And considering Jessica is a wedding coordinator hereself, well, you just knew the wedding was going to be gorgeous. And IT WAS.

“I’ve known Jessica for years through our shared passions for weddings. You see, Jessica is the lead wedding coordinator for L & L events. When I got the new that she wanted to hire Rising Lotus as her and Javier’s wedding photographer, I was over the moon! I find it the utmost compliment when fellow industry folks hire me. They know ALL of the options available to them and still pick me. It touches me so deeply!

That said, I had NO doubt that Jessica & Javier’s wedding was going to be fantastic in ever sense. I knew it would be beautiful because her vision and creativity is amazing. I knew that she was cherry picking an A-team, and I knew the day would run super smoothly! I was right about these predictions. What I didn’t expect was how emotional I would be! Jessica was a princess in her Allure Bridal gown. As she glided down the aisle to meet Javier, the moment was laced with anticipation. Under the most gorgeous of fabric draped arbor with a sparkly crystal chandelier overhead, they vowed to love each other forever. Their personalized vows were recited with a quiver in their voices and tears rolling down their cheeks. Sealed with a perfect kiss! Side note- take your time during this moment- not just because it makes for great photos, which it does, but because you’re sealing the deal and it should be a celebration! Copious amounts of PDA is completely acceptable on your wedding day.

Jessica and Javier’s elegant wedding reception of rich plum and show-stopping gold was a vision at Ybor City Museum gardens. The drool-worthy details were all hand-selected and carefully combined to create a stunning affair! And do you see that cake? Holy smokes, it’s amazing.I love how perfectly it played off of the bridesmaid’s dresses. It was incredibly glamorous!

Also, can we just take a moment to recognize how ADORABLE their son is?! My goodness, he’s a future heartbreaker. Oh, and the rocket of confetti was the perfect send off!”
