DIY CACTUS THEMED SLOGAN NAPKINS

I love paper napkins as much as the next gal but every now and then I like to use cloth napkins in a table set up, I find that they really dress up the table that little bit more, especially when they’ve got a fun slogan on! Today we’re sharing how to make these easy cactus themed napkins that will be the perfect addition to any tropical table!

YOU WILL NEED:
Plain cloth napkins (we chose pink) // Cricut green foil iron on // Pink iron on // A Cricut machine // An Iron or the Cricut EasyPress // Cactus Template // Flower Template //

STEP 1:
Upload the cactus template and the flower template to the Cricut design space and save them as cut images.

STEP 2:
Next size them to your fit your napkins, I sized these ones 4.5 inches wide.

STEP 3:
Using the text tool add in any slogan that you see fit! We chose ‘party time’ but add in whatever you like, be sure to change it to a ‘cut image’ though.

When you’re ready load your iron on materials into the machine (face down for iron on ..

STEP 1:

STEP 2:

STEP 3:

Using the text tool add in any slogan that you see fit! We chose ‘party time’ but add in whatever you like, be sure to change it to a ‘cut image’ though.

STEP 4:

When you’re ready load your iron on materials into the machine (face down for iron on and be sure you have checked the ‘reverse image’ box so that you’re slogan will be the right way up when ironed) then hit go and let the Cricut cut it all out for you.

STEP 5:

Peel away the negative spaces so that you’re left with your cacti, the flowers and your slogan. Then finally, iron your napkins so that they’re hot first, place your cut outs flat down onto them and iron over top until your design has transferred over (normally about 60 seconds)

Fun right!? Even though we are into September now we’re clearly still clinging on to any sign of summer tropical vibes! The sun will surely make a few more appearances this month right?! xx
